This is a rough compilation of prices, based on the current  (Nov-Dec 2021) level compared with the one year ago or less.

  1. Housing

Source: National Bureau of Statistics

If we take the base year 2015, January 2021 represents a 49,7% increase, and comparing the end of this year (not there yet) with January, we have an almost 16% increase over year.

Over the last 6 years, houses are almost 75% more expensive!

2. Electricity

Simply put, a kWh was 20 cents. Now it's around 40 cents. An increase of 100%.

3. Natural Gas

This is the greatest increase: from around 70 cents/m3, today is above 1,70 euro/m3. That means 242% increase!

4. Gasoline (Benzine)

Not a highway price (so the lowest), but gasoline was flexible over the last year with a minimum of 1.50 euro per liter for E95. Now it's above 2.00 euro. An increase of 30%.

As you might notice, these are way out of line with the official number (of almost 5%).

Energy prices above are final prices including the flexible parts. Separately you pay for fixed monthly fees. These varies between providers, but not as much (since the biggest part of price is taxes and such).
