During the last year, Australia ramped up its game against Covid and became a tyrannical society who punishes every disobedience in the name of greater good (of national health, or whatever they believe in).
The camps is split into different zones and accommodates singles, doubles, and family rooms while being patrolled by police and security guards 24/7
In the end COVID is great business, since the government is leasing that land, and also paying for the construction obviously. There will some costs with dismantling this, but I assume this is here to stay for a long time.
