Giving everyone boosters (aka repeated vaccination) by mid-January is, what Hugo De Jonge calls, a mega-operation! Unleash the fury of the vaccines and endless lockdowns against this highly infectious (but not deadly at all) variant!
‘We are speeding up the booster because it is really needed for Omicron,’ he told reporters.
He's reassuring us that he knows better what the next virus move will be:
‘Even if Omicron causes milder illness, it is moving so fast that there will be an impact on hospital admissions.’
Omicron seems to be nothing else than a flu at this point; the impact of hospital admissions will be the same as the last 40-50 years, when we had seasonal flu all the time. But fear mongering is for free.
De Jonge admits he's clueless about the new variant:
‘We don’t know enough about it yet,’ De Jonge said.
but then makes a counterpoint saying it's bad and it's resistant to immunity:
But it is more resistant to immunity and a new wave is to be expected.
The new wave he's talking about is ravaging the whole Netherlands at this point. From his own mouth:
De Jonge said Omicron now accounts for around 1% of cases in the Netherlands, and 3% in Amsterdam.
1%!! The Omicron Wave is coming, baby!
Not so long ago, UK departure from the European Union was seen as a bad thing. Now it seems they provide a good example to be followed. De Jonge seems eager to beat the crap out of this virus with new measures applied on humans, since it's such a mistery:
‘There is still a lot we don’t know about the Omicron variant,’ De Jonge said during a parliamentary debate on Wednesday, but the measures could be reassessed if the OMT concludes that the UK scenario is likely to be replicated in the Netherlands.
Obviously, Outbreak Management Team, a gang with direct benefits from a long lasting crisis, suggest that again the government should fuck up the whole economy, especially the small mom and pops store, by implementing a hard lockdown. The same like the last year, when it did exact shit of a difference.
Citing sources close to the Outbreak Management Team, the media outlets say a hard lockdown is needed to brake the rise of the Omicrom variant of coronavirus,
Health minister Hugo de Jonge and prime minister Mark Rutte both said on Friday they were very concerned about the rise of Omicron.
The rise of Omicron! Nothing, but Nothing can be higher than Rutte and de Jonge! Yes, took 8 months to form a new government after elections, yes..., Rutte's party has only ~20% votes, yes..., a lot of dutch people are asking themselves why Rutte is still in charge, even after some bad scandal related to the Tax Office... but still: their concern should be shared, even forced, by the whole population!
The deadly effects of Omicron are clearly visible:
The number of people in hospital with coronavirus continues to decline. There are now 2,472 hospital patients, of whom 638 are on an IC ward. Sixteen patients are also being treated in an IC ward in Germany.
To put things in perspective, the population of the Netherlands is about 18 million people.
And why the vicious fight continues, a new variant of the virus seems to appear on the horizon. The WHO (a blessed world wide organization) raised an alarm signal over Orgasmatron. This seems to be extremely dangerous and have a great impact, as shown in this short documentary. It spreads rapidly, but for some strange reason, old people are not quite so affected anymore. The counterattack will be sustained by vaccination and of course, hard-ons. The government will take all the necessary measures to combat the newly experienced pleasure by the whole population.
