"Russians abroad voted eight to one against Putin's party, defying official results"
As reported by Euronews, in a desperate move to minimize the official (preliminary) results from Russia's elections.
Two independent exit polls covering 27 countries put New People first with around 45% and United Russia as low as 2.8% — the reverse of official results inside Russia, where Putin's party took nearly 58%. Exit poll organisers said the gap "destroys the image of supposed support for the authorities."
In 10 countries, including Armenia, Germany and Finland, United Russia failed to clear the 5% threshold required to win Duma seats.
Well, outside of Russia, the United Russia party is not loved — that's a fact. But this electorate is a small percentage of the whole Russian population, and preliminary results so far show:

Turnout was reported at roughly 59%, which officials described as a record for a parliamentary election in recent years.
🇷🇺 So Putin's party, as it's described, is still going strong.
But let's take a look at the other side of the fence — at Western leaders' approval ratings.
🇺🇸 Donald Trump — The elected president of the United States. A tough character — a peacemaker through war, a businessman through piracy over other countries' oil. He has financial interests in the watch business, coins, rebuilding parts of the White House, and much more. A fanatic supporter of Israel and a direct enemy of Russia. Only 32% of Americans still approve of his actions — the lowest so far. Keep up the good work!
🇪🇺 Ursula von der Leyen — Unelected president of the European Commission since 2019. Few remember how she got the job — and in one French poll, 20% of respondents couldn't even identify who she is. But she's a strong woman from a well-connected family, driven by a fierce anti-Russian sentiment. She has a few notable achievements to her name: spending over €100 million annually on external consultants, including McKinsey, often without proper public tenders; and in 2021, personally negotiating a COVID-19 vaccine deal with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla via private text messages, covering up to 4.6 billion doses worth tens of billions of euros. Currently, she is overseeing the transfer of tens of billions of euros to Ukraine, while seemingly ignoring European economic decline, high inflation, mass emigration, and every other issue she is theoretically responsible for.
🇩🇪 Friedrich Merz — Chancellor of Germany (since May 2025), leader of the CDU party. In slightly more than one year, he managed to destroy his party's credibility. In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the CDU, with 4.9%, is even out of parliament. The AfD, on the other hand, rose to 38.2% (from 16.7%). Merz's approval rating is about 14%, while disapproval stands at 78%. Even among CDU voters, 58% agreed he is not the right person for the job. Driven by strong anti-Russia sentiments, he continued the destruction of German industry and ignored the problems facing the German people. He also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BlackRock Asset Management Deutschland AG from 2016 to March 2020.
🇫🇷 Emmanuel Macron — President of France. Subjected to some domestic violence coming from his wife, he still manages to promote a charismatic figure, being able to get under Donald Trump's skin on various occasions. Unfortunately, the French electorate is not so happy about his activity: current approval is 16% and going lower as we speak, with disapproval at 81%. Otherwise a nice fella with an affinity for fine perfumes (Dior Eau Sauvage).
🇺🇦 Volodymyr Zelenskyy - president of Ukraine with an expired mandate from 2024, continues heroically the war against unprovoked and completely out of the sudden war with Russia, while being busy finding reasons not to keep elections and continuing to siphon tens of billions out of the European tax payers money through a corrupt and complicated system of power. Different approval numbers, based on who writes the story:
The survey by research institute Sozis found Zelensky in sixth place among the country's leaders, with just 18% of respondents saying they have full trust in the president.
Another 24.5% said they somewhat trusted him, with 17% according him little trust and 37% none at all.
Possibly 0% approval rate by the ones recruited via busification and sent directly to the front line.
