A teenager experiences the horror in an apartment in Heinsberg: five men are said to have sexually assaulted her.
According to the public prosecutor's office, the suspects have been living in Germany for a long time. The victim also does not have German citizenship.
As a spokeswoman for the Aachen public prosecutor's office confirmed to t-online on Friday morning, the suspects are Syrians. They are between 17 and 26 years old.
The group of five abused the girl in the apartment, "Focus" reports. They also threatened the young person with using an electric shocker. After the crime, the ex-boyfriend picked up the victim again and took him to a friend.
Four of the five suspects were arrested directly. According to investigators, a fifth has turned himself in in the meantime.
This represents just one case among dozens of others—consequences of the open-door refugee policy that was initiated on a large scale by Angela Merkel and has been continued by various Western governments to this day.
Welcome refugees.
